De consultatiezones geven de maximale afstanden weer tot waar de effecten van de Seveso-inrichtingen reiken en waarbinnen (ontwikkelingen in) de omgeving ook een impact kunnen hebben op de Seveso-inrichtingen. Concreet is dit de zone vanaf de grens van de Seveso-inrichting waarbinnen plannen voor ruimtelijke ontwikkelingen ter advies aan het Team Externe Veiligheid moeten voorgelegd worden.\r\n\r\nDeze consultatiezones worden maandelijks geactualiseerd; de gegevens voor Omgevings Informatie Vlaanderen (OIV) elk kwartaal. Concreet betekent dit dat de publicatie hiervan telkens de tweede week van januari, maart, juni en september zal
